STIPULE WORKSTATION
Designed by Heimy Molina, a forth year Engineering student at Western Sydney University and made by Maxton Fox’s engineering and production specialists.
Heimy’s workstation design aims to tackle a crucial challenge in today’s workplace: encouraging social distancing while maintaining connection in open-plan workspaces. This workstation screen design promotes a safe and healthy work environment, without sacrificing collaboration and connection.
The Stipule is a symmetrical dual workstation, characterised by it’s organic ‘s’ shape, upholstered divider and kidney-shaped floating desktops. Inspired by natural growth, mimicking organic divisions and connections seen in nature, the Stipule demonstrates how biomimetic design can be done aesthetically to blend seamlessly with any work setting.
Upholstered using Kvadrat’s Steel Cut Trio and Soft Touch Burgundy laminate by Fenix. The Stipule is proudly designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia.

- The ‘s’ divider fabric is fire-resistant, abrasion-resistant, sound-absorbing, EU Ecolabel certified, and pilling-resistant
- Each kidney-shaped desktop includes a soft touch anti-fingerprint laminate surface that is sustainable and carbon neutral
- The laminate surface can be thermally repaired if it is damaged or scratched
- The Stipule is a modular design with the capacity to be a four or even a six-desk curve if desired
