Saturday Indesign in Sydney this year is guaranteed to be huge.

We have a full day of exciting activations planned, ending on an amazing product giveaway during the cocktail hour.

We will be giving away our new ‘Against the Grain’ table, which is also our Project Submission for this year.

Designed by Jacqueline Hall, Senior Associate at PTW, and crafted by Maxton Fox in collaboration with Kaolin Surfaces.

This is a product giveaway you won’t want to miss.

 

 

This piece combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, a unique combination of porcelain tiles and solid walnut forms, seamlessly merging classic and contemporary aesthetics. Jacqueline’s vision reinvents classic forms with playful elements, bold colors, and striking contrasts, creating a timeless table that stand out from the crowd. By drawing inspiration from Ray Eames’ design philosophy, Hall demonstrates how furniture can be both functional and artistically expressive.

 

 

2024 EMERGING DESIGNER AWARD CRITIQUE EVENING WITH WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY

Additionally this year’s Critique Evening will be apart of Saturday InDesign.

Allowing the students to experience a professional event firsthand.

The shortlisted designs are not to be missed.

Come and review the finalists for this year’s Western Sydney Emerging  Designer Award.

Meet the student designers, review their models, and vote on your favorite design.

Your vote could help launch a career!

The shortlisted designs will be on display throughout the day, with all-day voting available.

The design with the most votes will be manufactured at our Western Sydney factory, and launched to market by Maxton Fox.
